I vote option A. Since we've been doing option B for the longest time, lets try A and see if its better.

Ok, as of today, March 26th, eto na ang standings:

Option A leads by majority vote, 13-1, technically panalo na ang Option A dahil lagpas half na sya nung borderline natin na 24 people.

Hopefully, the rest of the 24 will still cast their votes this week. We will still be running the poll until this Friday, March 30th, para mag-decide, after which we will be going back to Kuhala Bay on Saturday to place the formal reservations for our outing accommodations.

For me its really depends on the FINAL HEAD COUNT ng mga sasama. The dorm beds are comfy naman given na ang ratio between attendee and beds is 1:1. Ok lang din sa akin ang suite choice.

Either way naman Kuya Flor, tig-iisang kama talaga ang mangyayari. Yung borderline 24 is basically how many people we think are going FOR REAL, based on their attendance for the past few years:

Aabot sana ng halos 30 ang borderline, but unfortunately, the people from Bondo Corner aren't coming this year (Consty, soulrave, fujisai).

Of course, that number may change. Kumbaga, that's only a figure we need for the initial reservations. Magre-rent tayo ng additional rooms if the need arises (like mga late signups/downpayments).

Kaya mas maigi kung agahan natin ang confirmation at downpayments, para hindi ganung ka-hassle sa reservations.

Also, maganda yung idea ni xtragravy ah. Kung sakaling feeling niyo e mabibigatan kayo pwede siguro nga yung magdown nang paunti-unti (every payday?) para sa outing mismo di na ganun kabigat yung babayaran. Okay nga lang ba yun Kuya Habs / Miff?

^Mas maganda syempre na ganun na nga, para mas magaan ang gastos sa actual outing day. Yung minimum naman is just to confirm your attendance, while at the same time pang-reservation na hinihingi ng resorts.

If my memory serves me right, ginawa na ninyo ni Dee yan a few years back, asa 1k na yung downpayment ninyo, sobrang liit na lang nung top-up ninyo come payment time.

Well, pointless na bumalik pa tayu Ser, kahit san tayu bumoto, panalo ang A. I guess marami din satin ang gusto ng change eh, which is good.

18 people have already voted, so may 6 pang pending. At least me majority decision na with the choice of accommodations, para walang hassle ang pagpapa-reserve namin bukas. Hopefully by Sunday o Monday, iko-confirm na namin ang ating mga rooms.

Ok, me problema tayo ngayun mga kids:

Nanggaling kami ni Habs kanina sa Kuhala Bay para sa formal reservations natin for the outing accommodations. Unfortunately, Bon (our contact person at Kuhala Bay) has informed us that the suites have already been booked by a large group on retreat. We asked for Option B (the dorms) pero pati yung dorms daw, reserved na nung retreat group.

Sadly, we had no other choice but to go for Plan C: venue will be the same as last year, sa City of Springs, Los Banos, Laguna. As we have no other clear alternative, dumerecho na kami kanina ni Habs dun sa Manila office ng Splash Mountain/City of Springs to inquire about the availability of the dorm rooms that we rented out last year. Swerte naman, available pa daw yung dalawang dorms, so same setup tayo this year as we already made the downpayment for the dorms.

Regarding the outing budget, same pa din sya, since pumatak ng asa 1,200 pesos per head ang budget last year, pero same rules regarding the Outing Kit contributions apply.

Right now, eto yung confirmed natin na bumoto na, based on the voting we did for Option A and B ng Kuhala:

Ngayon, with this major development, meron bang me balak sa inyo na mag-cancel o mag-join dahil sa venue change? Maiintindihan naman namin dahil malayo ang difference ng distance and logistics involved ng dalawang venues na to.

Inputs naman mga kids, medyo problemado kami dito eh.
