Here's a simple list of expenses that pretty much paints a picture of what to expect for this year's outing in terms of your budget. All numbers are based off our discussions with the resort management and their brochures, so you can expect the actual figures to be more or less the same or near-approximations of what you need to be ready with.

Budget Breakdown


I. Accommodations

Dama de Noche (Lying = 12, Max = 12, Allowable +5 = 17) = 12000 x2
Bahay Magdusa (Lying = 4, Max = 6, Allowable +2 = 8) = 6500 x2

Total = 37000

Min /18 = 2056/head
Max /25 = 1480/head


II. Transportation (for Commuting Parties)

Option A: Via ALPS (Cubao to San Juan, Batangas) = 188

+Jeep (San Juan to Laiya Aplaya) = 35 (223)
or +Tricycle (San Juan to Laiya Aplaya) = 60 (248)

Total = 223 to 248

Option B: Via Other Bus (Cubao to Lipa, Batangas) = 132

+Jeep (Lipa to San Juan) = 45
or +UV Express (Lipa to San Juan) = 70

+Jeep (San Juan to Laiya Aplaya) = 35 (212 to 237)
or +Tricycle (San Juan to Laiya Aplaya) = 60 (237 to 262)

Total = 212 to 262

Option C: Via Other Bus (Pasay to Lipa, Batangas) = 124

+Jeep (Lipa to San Juan) = 45
or +UV Express (Lipa to San Juan) = 70

+Jeep (San Juan to Laiya Aplaya) = 35 (204 to 229)
or +Tricycle (San Juan to Laiya Aplaya) = 60 (229 to 254)

Total = 204 to 254


III. Food for Cooking

2 Meals, 75/meal = 150/head


IV. Other Expenses

Swimming Fee = 50/head
Corkage Fees (100 per 12 bottles of drinks) = 10/head (approx)



Grand Total (excluding allowance for other meals/souvenirs) = 1894 to 2528/head


Note ha, hindi pa kasama ang third meal natin, plus any meals that you may want to take (for example, yung lunch mo sa McDo Lipa, which is planned to be the outing pitstop on our way home), so please prepare as much as you can. It's not a bad thing to overprepare, that's why we're encouraging you guys to bring more than enough para handa sa lahat ng possible contingencies.

We have a problem.

Since it's April 1 already, we've decided to make a reservation, but the resort says the week after we've checked the resort, the place was booked by a company for the whole month of May. The next available date is June 6-8.

Ang tanong, okay pa ba kayo sa dates?
